This was a really sweet commission to make. A lovely family from Germany who own a grove in northern Bavaria, sent me photographs of the trees within their grove; a nice mix of maple, oaks, beech and spruce. They asked me to find the gentle beings within their grove, so I did

A little Mermaid for a very sweet Mermaid. I was asked by an avid swimmer of the Cromarty Firth to draw her a little Mermaid wearing a woolly hat, with the Sutors of Cromarty in the background / graphite on paper / 20 x 20cm
