Sunny and Shadowy Trees, Glen Affric / Graphite on paper / 39.5 x 28.5cm

Earlier in the year I was taking photographs of trees on the other side of Loch Beinn a’ Mheadhoin, at Glen Affric. It was a beautiful May day, and when a big fluffy cloud passed over, it would cast a huge shadow on the trees below, creating a strong contrast in colour and light. This drawing shows the sunbathed and the cloud bathed trees.
